Get found locally

Dublin searches by area – often down to the postcode.

Dubliners describe where they live by village or postal district: Rathmines, Stoneybatter, Clontarf, "Dublin 8". Searches follow the same pattern – "plumber dublin 6", "barber smithfield", "physio ranelagh" – and most of them happen on a phone, with Google Maps doing the shortlisting. A site that loads fast, shows your area, hours and prices, and has a one-tap call button is what turns that search into a booking.

The city also has a big international side. The Docklands host the European offices of many tech companies, and their staff bring demand for everything from gyms and dog walkers to accountants and childcare. Add a busy hospitality and tourism trade around Temple Bar and the city centre, and competition for local attention is real. A proper website of your own helps you stand out from businesses that rely on social media alone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions from Dublin

You're based in Germany. How does that work for a Dublin business?

We work fully remotely, by video call, phone, email and WhatsApp, in English. Frankfurt is one hour ahead of Dublin, so calls fit easily into your working day. We don't have an office in Ireland and don't offer in-person meetings.

How do I pay, and is VAT added?

Quotes and invoices are in euro and paid by SEPA bank transfer. As a German small business (§ 19 UStG), we don't charge VAT.

Can my site rank for my area, like Dublin 8 or Clontarf?

Yes. From the Standard package we build page titles, texts and structured data around your location and service area, with Google Maps and directions embedded.

What about GDPR and cookies?

Sites are built privacy-friendly: no tracking by default, and cookie consent only if you add analytics. The legal texts should be checked by you or your adviser, as we don't provide legal advice.

What does a small business website cost in Dublin?

A one-page site is €899, Standard with up to 5 pages €1,299. Hosting is included; you only pay for your domain, about €10–20 a year for a .ie.
