Frequently asked questions
How much does a small business website cost in the UK?
Our packages start at £790 for a professional one-page site. Most local businesses go for Standard at £1,190. You pay one fixed price in pounds, with no monthly subscription.
How long until my website is live?
Between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the package. It mostly comes down to how quickly your content and photos are ready. You send bullet points or existing text, we polish it into clear, search-friendly copy, and you approve it.
What are the ongoing costs?
We set up hosting free of charge. You only pay for your domain, for example a .co.uk at about £10–15 a year, registered in your name. A monthly care plan is optional.
Do you offer care after launch?
Yes, it's optional and runs monthly (4 weeks' notice to the end of a month). Care Basic at £29 a month: uptime monitoring, regular backups, security and update checks, email support. Care Active at £49: plus up to 1 hour of changes a month and replies within 24 hours. Care Plus at £89: up to 2 hours of changes, a monthly SEO and performance check and Google Business Profile upkeep. Without a plan your site runs just the same; changes are then charged by effort (£79 an hour).
Can I get changes made later on?
Yes, whenever you like. Email or WhatsApp us new prices, photos, opening hours or news and we'll update them promptly. Changes are included in care plans from £49 a month; otherwise they're charged by time spent (£79 per hour).
Will local customers find me on Google?
Every site is built to be technically sound for search engines. From the Standard package, we also do local SEO for your town or area. Setting up your Google Business Profile, the biggest single lever for local searches, is available as an add-on.
You're based in Germany. Does that work for a UK business?
Yes. We work fully remotely by video call, phone, email and WhatsApp. Calls are in English, and as we're only an hour ahead of UK time, your working day and ours overlap almost completely. Quotes and invoices are in pounds, paid by bank transfer, and no VAT is added (§ 19 UStG).
Is my website UK GDPR-friendly?
We build with privacy in mind: no tracking unless you want it, a secure contact form and a privacy policy page. A cookie banner is only needed if you add analytics or similar tools, and we'll set one up if so. We can't give legal advice, so the content of your privacy policy remains your responsibility.
