Web design for inns, B&Bs & small hotels

More direct bookings. Less commission.

Online travel agencies bring guests – and take a hefty cut. We build websites for small hotels, country inns, B&Bs and cottage rentals where guests are happy to book with you directly.

What matters

Guests always check your own website too.

Many guests find you on a booking site – and then google your name. If your website wins them over and lets them book directly, you keep the commission.

Common problems

  • High commission paid to online travel agencies
  • Outdated photos on your own website
  • Nothing in French for guests from Quebec or Europe
  • No reason to book direct

Your new website

  • Booking requests directly on your website
  • Every room with large, up-to-date photos
  • English and French on request
  • A clear perk for direct bookers (e.g. breakfast or late checkout included)

Accommodation searches are local, seasonal and often tied to an occasion:

  • bed and breakfast Niagara-on-the-Lake
  • inn Prince Edward County
  • boutique hotel Old Quebec

  • country inn Nova Scotia

Occasion pages (e.g. “Fall colours weekend”, “Ski getaway” or “Wine country stay”) bring in guests searching for exactly your location and season.

Our recommendation

The right package for small hotels, inns and B&Bs.

Several room pages, polished copy and a polished presence – that's why we recommend Premium. A French version and a booking engine are available as add-ons. A single cottage or suite starts well with Starter or Standard.

Optional add-ons: Google Business Profile setup ($439), online booking & reservations ($349), blog/news ($689), a French (or English) version (from $689) and more.

FAQ

Questions from innkeepers and B&B hosts

Which booking engine is right for me?

If you already use a channel manager, we integrate its booking engine as an add-on. Otherwise many small properties start with a simple booking request form.

Should my website be in English and French?

If you welcome guests from Quebec, Europe or francophone communities, a French version is a real plus. It's available as an add-on with any package. In Quebec, French-language rules apply to businesses – please check the details with an advisor.

How do I persuade guests to book directly?

With a clear advantage: best rate, breakfast included, late checkout or flexible cancellation – stated right next to the booking button.

What does a website for an inn or B&B cost?

Premium is $4,390 one-time; smaller properties start from $1,590. A French version is available as an add-on from $689.

Do I need to mention licences or registration numbers?

Depending on your province and municipality, short-term and tourist accommodations may need a registration or licence number, sometimes shown in listings. We can display it wherever you need; please confirm the requirements for your area locally.
